Dr Lee graduated with an honours medical degree from Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in June 2002. She completed her internship at one of the largest tertiary teaching hospitals in Dublin (Adelaide and Meath Hospital) before moving to Australia in late 2003.
Dr. Lee always knew she wanted to pursue Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a specialty career. She commenced her O&G specialist training in 2007 which she has completed successfully in 2013. Dr Lee is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
During her extensive training in Queensland, Dr Lee has worked at Logan Hospital, Mater Mother’s Hospital and Rockhampton Hospital. Dr Lee subsequently started her O&G private practice at Sunnybank Private Hospital since 2013 but has stopped providing Obstetric services from May 2022 following the closure of Sunnybank Maternity Services. Dr Lee is devoted and will continue to provide care to women needing Gynaecological and/or Fertility and IVF services.
Dr Lee holds a special interest in Endometriosis management and minimal invasive gynaecological surgery and performs advanced laparoscopic (key-hole) surgeries for benign gynaecological conditions.
Dr Lee is a caring individual; she will support and guide you through every step of your journey. Dr. Lee practices evidence-based medicine and she prides herself on providing the highest standard of care in a non-judgemental way to achieve the best outcome for her patients.
As a doctor, Dr Lee has a unique perspective coming from a multicultural background. Born and raised in Malaysia; she understands the needs of different cultures, and apart from English, she also communicates fluently in Mandarin and Cantonese.
